What you pay for
You pay per connection, per month. A connection is one person connected to one brick for your applications. Today the only brick is the browser: a person running Apigami counts once, however many browsers they use and however many of your applications they are attached to. Other bricks may come, a mail connection for instance. You choose which bricks your users can connect for your applications, and a person connected to two bricks counts twice.
Nothing is charged per request. How much an application asks of a site does not change the bill, on purpose.
The grid
Tiers are marginal: each rate applies only to the connections that fall inside its band, never to the whole month.
| Monthly band | Per connection |
|---|---|
| First 10 connections | Free |
| Connections 11 to 1,000 | €3.00 |
| Connections 1,001 to 3,000 | €2.00 |
| Connections beyond 3,000 | €1.00 |
Prices are excluding VAT.
Worked out
At 2,500 connections: the first 10 are free, 990 are billed at €3.00 and 1,500 at €2.00, so€5,970 for the month, an average of €2.39 each. At 5,000 connections the same arithmetic gives €8,970, an average of €1.79.
Commitment
A yearly agreement carries a floor: the price of 1,000 connections at the grid,€2,970 per month, due whether or not they are used. That floor is what a term commitment buys, and it is the only thing that changes when you sign one. The rates above it are the same as anyone else's.
Everyone pays this grid
These are the rates we charge every customer. We do not quote off-grid, we do not sell placement in the application catalogue, and we take no share of what an application's author charges for their own work.
Changes
We may revise this grid. A customer under contract is notified in writing and the change takes effect at their next renewal, never retroactively.
